Health and Safety – Exhibitor Risk Assessments – Silverstone Exhibition 2026

Please read all the information below before completing the form.

The EIS has conducted its own risk assessment for the Instrumentation, Analysis and Testing Exhibition.

Exhibitors are also required to conduct their own risk assessments and have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their staff, visitors and others present at the event. These risk assessments do not need to be submitted in advance of the show but exhibitors must ensure that a copy of their risk assessment is available on their stand during the event and can be shown to the organisers if requested.

Example risks which should be considered in your risk assessment may include (but are not limited to): manual handling, electrical cabling and power supplies, slips, trips and falls, unstable display stands or boards, sharp edges on stands or equipment, electrical faults or shocks, and fire risks such as overloaded extension leads.

Please view the EIS risk assessment which identifies exhibitor responsibilities.

If your exhibition stand includes any high-risk activities/equipment you are required to complete a separate risk assessment and submit this no later than 20 April. High-risk activities or equipment may include (but are not limited to): high-voltage equipment, moving machinery or demonstrations, heat sources, pressure systems, combustible materials, lithium battery charging systems, laser, UV or bright lights, or any equipment that could pose a risk to visitors or neighbouring stands. The risk assessment should be emailed to info@e-i-s.org.uk clearly stating the company name. If a form is not submitted and you have high-risk equipment you will not be able to have this equipment on your stand.

For health and safety reasons we request that exhibitors do not break down their stands before 4pm on 12 May. Any exhibitors not complying do so at their own risk.

All exhibitors are required to complete the following form by 14 April
